Description

The D-VSCS-LTD uses the same technology as the standard DVSCS but with different Commanders Equipment to allow for more teams to be controlled.

 

The design of the 4 channel D-VSCS system enabled a Dual Team Commanders case to be increased to 4 teams, however, for a greater number of teams additional recording and display equipment is required.

 

The LTS system provides this additional capacity and can handle typically 8 teams or up to 16 if required. The incoming video from each team is recorded on to a multi-channel digital recorder and the commands to each team and the responses are overlaid on to the recorded video. In order to handle large numbers of teams, there are 2 LTS systems currently available. From 5~8 teams we have the LTS8 and for 5~16 teams there is the LTS16.

 

The LTS system comprises of the Display & Control Case plus the Receiver/Recording Case.

 

The Display and Control Case is based on the standard DVSC software and all the features are replicated. Each sniper team can designate the identity of each target they are engaging, indicate that they are 'ON' and indicate Target Down or Miss. The case includes a large screen display with preview small, screen displays for each team, plus the controls for each teams as per the DVSC system.

 

The Record Receiving Case contains the 4 channel digital receiver units (2 for an 8 channel system and 4 for a 16 channel system). Where there are odd numbers, for example 5, or 6 teams, we are able to supply a de-populated unit which can be upgraded later. The Digital Video Recorder will record up to 8 channels or 16 channels in real time depending on capacity required. Please note that a different recording system is used for the 16 channel system and therefore upgrading an 8 channel system will involve replacing the DVR.

 

The D-VCSC-LTS system uses the same sniper cases as the standard 4 channel system.
