The 2553 Colour Camera is designed to meet the tough demands of the military, it is rugged and tolerant of abuse over a wide environmental range, and is in service in a variety of applications worldwide. The camera is also suited to commercial applications where reliability is essential at a cost much less than normally associated with Mil Spec equipment.

 

The 2553 has an integral optical zoom lens, plus an additional seamless X12 digital zoom. As the ambient light falls, the operator can select monochrome operation for up to 10x more sensitivity.

 

The system is ideal for applications such as EOD 'wheelbarrows' and other remote controlled vehicles, such as forklift trucks and mine clearance vehicles, as well as indirect viewing systems on manned vehicles.
